Styrotex launched Dura-Pal at Food and Hotel Asia 2008 in Singapore with overwhelming responses. Dura-Pal only weighs 6 kilograms and can sustain rackable loads with the 2+4 way entry design of up to 2 tons. Dura-Pal is a new pallet, which has been developed specifically with re-use and closed loop uses in mind. Hygiene and cleanliness comes standard with Dura-Pals protective membrane sealed to prevent dirt and bacterial build-up. Dura-Pal is ideal for use in food retail outlets, clean room environments and food preparation areas. It is also widely used in internal factory environments which require a lighter pallet with improved durability. We guarantee that this would be the only pallet that would survive free fall from 5000 feet!

Styrotex appointed Astron Plastics Group as its distributors for the Australian and New Zealand markets. Astron is the largest plastics recycling company in Australasia. Astron have also appointed Styrotex as its distributors for slip-sheets for the Asian market. The slip sheets are complimentary to the lightweight pallets as they offer an alternative to airfreight shipments using volumetric measurements.

February 2008

Styrotex add Hitachi GST to its customer list for airfreight shipments of hard disk drives. Initial production has ramped up to supply Hitachi GST Singapore with plans to roll-out the product in Thailand and Shenzhen mid year.

Cavite Packaging Corporation has been appointed by Styrotex as agents in the Philippines.

Styrotex appoints contract manufacturers to Samsung, Elpaso as its representative office for Korea. Elpaso hope to introduce Aeropal to the likes of Samsung in the Korean market.

Ire-Tex Premier India Pvt Ltd have been appointed as distributors of Styrotex’s products for India. The company is based in Chennai and is currently supporting the likes of DELL with protective packaging for its servers and laptops. Ire-Tex Premier hope to begin manufacturing Aeropal in Mid 2008.

February 2007

Styrotex receive multi-million dollar contract with LCD tv giant Sharp in Malaysia to supply pallets for Sharps 26”, 32” and 37” tv sets in Sungai Petani. Pallets have been customized to ensure maximum capacity during seafreight shipments. As a result of customization of pallets, Sharp have been able to increase overall shipment volumes by up to 30 percent!

a JV with Kingpak.

Styrotex (Asia Pacific) sets up in China

SAP has acquired Ire-Tex Suzhou and moves into the Suzhou New District region. Suzhou is located 2 hours from Shanghai and is a popular manufacturing location for MNC's in the electronics industry. In order to support their existing customer base globally and also develop new customers in the region SAP have set-up its China headquarters in Suzhou.
